Swiss: I see that there were 9 series and Francesca left after series 3. I suspect my interest in the programme started to slip after that and then after series 4 when he excellent Sam Kelly left it was tired and less reasons to watch!

Re: Allo Allo - Gorden Kaye brown bread
It was a very good comedy when it started and had the likes of Sam Kelly and Francesca Gonshaw. I saw the stage show in West End in late 80s. Lost interest and clearly went on too long. I saw Vicki Michelle last year at an event near me and a lovely lady and stunning at 67. When I did a very long Celeb Dead List a few years back I sadly put Gordon on it - after having to check that he hadn't died after that freak accident. Bizarrely I had 3 others on the list who share his birthday (odd!)

RIP Gorden

I don't remember laughing much at this show, but the scene when the cuckoo clock went off in the german officers trousers is one of the funniest scenes ever.

Never got that show. Still, they got 20 years out of a poor Peter Sellers skit, so something must have cliqued.

Was massive on mainland Europe for some reason. Mr. Bean I could understand, but this???

A girl I worked with back then saw the car thing happen. She was in a right state and got sent home. Must have been horrible to witness an accident like that. It was strong winds I recall and I think it was an advertising hoarding or something that went through the window and buried in his head.

I seem to recall it was a cats eye had come out of the road and through his windscreen. Nobody could figure out how - Theres much more below the surface?
